This was one of the most enjoyable projects I’ve worked on. The concept was simple: create a newspaper about your hometown, but with a visually appealing design.
My hometown is a coastal town, historically known for its fishermen, and I wanted to bring that heritage into the heart of the design. I went for a vintage, scrapbook-inspired look, reminiscent of old printed paper, while modernising it with bold colours and contemporary composition techniques.
This project not only gave me the freedom to shape the visual identity of the newspaper, but also pushed me to explore my town in search of compelling stories and the perfect shots!
This was developed as part of a study project.
